Car history: |
1) This car comes from an acquaintance that had owned the car for twenty years. It is showing 71000 miles and is believed to be actual. The car was painted twenty three or more years ago and still looks good for the most part, with the exception of chips and some paint peel on the side gills. The white is not the original color according to the door tag-original color is actually Elkhart green=possibly a rare color. As far as options-power steering, brakes, and am-fm radio are about all you get. The interior appears to be original and very nice with a few small blemishes to the door panels(dash very nice as well as seats and carpet). The engine and transmission were both rebuilt about seven years ago, and may have had a mild cam added to the engine at the time. The top appears like new and there is a lower top seal included with the car to be installed by the new owner. There is also a pair of new headlight bezels included. I feel the weak points of the car are that the brake calipers are kinda sticky due to the fact the car has not been used on a regular basis (they have been replaced in the past), and the car has a growly wheel bearing type noise in the rear (keep in mind I am not a mechanic, and do not guarantee this to be correct). A little more than normal exhaust noise may also be present (not sure). Sold for $16,500 on April 26, 2017. |
